SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - A local animal control and adoption center is asking for the community's help.
The Sangamon County center said on Facebook Tuesday it has run out of open kennels.
The center stated that it has taken in more than 100 dogs in just three weeks and that adoption and transfer rates are low.
It is asking any fosters and adopters to help ease the strain.
