DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Decatur is getting new artwork to admire, as the Scovill Sculpture Park has added five new sculptures.

The new additions marked the fourth installation at the park and are a joint partnership between local organizations, including the Children's Museum of Illinois and the Decatur Area Arts Council.

Decatur Park District Foundation Director Aly Delatte said the art is a great way to get people talking.

"It starts a dialogue. It lets people ask questions no matter how old they are; you can use your imagination, think through what the artist was wondering," Delatte said. 

Five more pieces will be installed in 2027.
