CHAMPAIGN, ILL. (WAND) - You can experience a stay like no other at a local farm and creamery. The farmhouse at Prairie Fruits Farm & Creamery is now available for overnight guests.Â
During your stay, you can participate in farm activities and chores. Those include goat yoga, learning how to make goat cheese, guided hikes and experiencing farm to table dining.Â
"The Airbnb is beautiful. Definitely, if you want to get away for the weekend, even if you live in town, it's a great, great place to just kind of get away for the weekend," said Garron Snachez, executive chef of Prairie Fruits Farm & Creamery.Â
You can book your stay on their website or through AirBnb.Â
The farm offers other activities throughout the week. An extra day for Farm to Table Dinners will be added. You can check that out on Wednesday's and Thursdays. Goat hikes are every Thursday and Saturday.Â
"We do a happy hour goat hike with you. Get a cocktail at the end. We just launched our craft cocktail menu. So, our beverage director has a really great wine list and really, really nice craft cocktails that we utilize some of the ingredients here on the farm."
You cannot forget about their award-winning cheeses. This year, the farm won gold and bronze for their products at the American Cheese Society held in New York this year.
