SPRINGFIELD, IL- An icon in central Illinois television news has passed away.
Former WICS-TV anchor Don Hickman died Saturday. He was 74 years old.
Hickman was the face of channel 20's newscasts for 29 years.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home. His funeral will be at 10 a.m. at Saint Joseph the Worker Catholic Church.
