Decatur, IL- Decatur Memorial Hospital and Consociate Dansig team up to make Macon County the healthiest community in Illinois.
The Prevention Plan Challenge is a fitness-based competition designed to help companies build a healthier workplace. Thursday night participants checked out exercise stations at the Decatur Indoor Sports Center.
Consociate Dansig says 3,000 people were eligible to participate, and about 50% are taking part.
At the end of the year the winning company will get The Prevention Cup. Macon county is the first in the nation to take part in the challenge.
