(WAND) - A bridge closure is set to take place in Austin Township in Macon County beginning on Friday. 

Austin Township is just over nine miles west of Maroa. 

The Macon County Highway Department said the bridge will be closed to traffic until it is replaced.

The bridge replacement will take place at the end of 2027.
