SPRINGFIELD- The MDA Muscle Walk is in Springfield Saturday morning. The event draws teams of fundraisers who will walk at the State Fairgrounds to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association Central Illinois Chapter. The goal is to raise more than $108,000 to fund needed research, treatments, and support. So far more than $54,000 has been raised by participants through donations. The walk will be held Saturday morning at the Expo Building on the State Fairgrounds with Sean Streaty serving as Emcee. The walk will help fund the Central Illinois MDA Summer Camp in Hudson, Illinois in July.
