SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - Springfield Police arrested a man after they served a search warrant and found drugs, cash, and a weapon.Â
The Springfield Police Department served a warrant in the 1400 block of N. 28th Street on Nov. 20.Â
During the search, a gun was seized along with approximately 15 grams of heroin, 33 grams of crack cocaine, 2,837 grams of methamphetamine, $7,890 in U.S. currency and scales.
The 27-year-old Springfield man was arrested for methamphetamine delivery, manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance, armed habitual criminal, unlawful possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, and parole violation.
He is in custody at the Sangamon County Jail.Â
All people charged with a crime are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.Â
