More than 39,000 pounds of frozen meals are being recalled because of possible listeria contamination.

The USDA says eating food contaminated could cause listeriosis, an uncommon but potentially deadly disease. The recalled ready-to-eat meal kits are from the Big Boy Food Group based in Michigan. The food kits were produced on August 25th and distributed to wholesale establishments throughout Illinois. The recalled food kits include the "Dino Lunch" and "Lunch Buddies" brand. Officials say they can be identified by their case code - "9237".
