(WAND) - Danone US announced on Monday that YoCrunch yogurt products sold nationwide are being recalled due to the potential presence of plastic pieces in the dome topper.
The company reported that the dome topper might contain small, sharp shards of transparent plastic, which pose a choking hazard.
According to the US Food and Drug Administration website, it's important to note that the recall specifically concerns the dome toppers, not the yogurt itself.
Danone is recalling all flavors and sizes of YoCrunch products with expiration dates ranging from early July to early September.
