FORSYTH, Ill. (WAND) - The Forsyth Community and Economic Development office announced Friday a new restaurant is coming to the Hickory Point mall.
Burrito Express is expected to open in August. Burrito Express co-owner Francisco Lopez says the concept of the restaurant is similar to that of national chain Chipotle, which allows customers to design their own burritos using a variety of fresh ingredients.
Lopez and fellow co-owner David Fuentes have experience owning and operating several other restaurants in the Decatur-Forsyth area."We're excited Francisco and David chose Forsyth for their next business venture," says Village of Forsyth Community & Economic Development Coordinator Andrew Zupkoff. "Burrito Express will offer a new dining experience for Forsyth residents, and will undoubtedly attract visitors to the village to try out this unique concept."
