LINCOLN, Ill. (WAND) — A new resource is coming to struggling veterans in Logan County.  

Hope on 5th is a former nursing home which will soon become a homeless shelter for veterans.

Renovations are underway, but a fundraiser will take place this Friday evening starting at 6pm at the Lincoln Banquet Center. Paid Reservations are required up front. The cost is $45 for adults and $12 for those age 18 and under.
