ILLINOIS (WAND) - Flooding hazards forced part of the Middle Fork Vermilion River to close to recreational boating.Â
The Illinois Department of Natural Resources says the river is closed to boaters from the Illinois-Indiana state line to Oakwood. Flooding hazards include swift currents, floating debris, submerged structures and high water levels.Â
The DNR says the restriction will be in effect "until further notice".
