DANVILLE, Ill. (WAND) – Fake money circulating in Danville led to a warning from police.
Danville officers said the issue seen recently in the area involves fake $20 bills. Each bill has “Motion Picture Purposes" on the back.
Pictures of the bills are attached to this story.
Police are asking people to double check any money they receive.
WAND-TV reached out to police for more information and did not immediately hear back Monday night.
