DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - The President and CEO of HSHS St. Mary's Hospital is leaving to take a position in Louisiana.
Louisiana is home for Joan Coffman.
She will now serve as the president and CEO of St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington. That is where she started her career as a radiologic technologist.
Her last day at St. Mary's will be July 13.
A search for her replacement has already begun.
The President and CEO of HSHS Central Illinois Division Hospitals E.J. Kuiper will serve as interim.
