DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - The principal of Dennis Lab School has resigned.
Matt Andrews resigned his position after six years.
A reason for the resignation was not shared.
The school posted to Facebook, "It is with great sadness that I announce the resignation of Mr. Andrews as Principal of Dennis Lab School. We wish him much success with his new endeavors. Mr. Andrews contributed a lot to the success of Dennis and we thank him for his services to our students and the Dennis community. I am confident our faculty and staff will continue to carry out the vision of our school as we transition to new leadership."Â
Assistant Principal Paul Ranstead said he is committed to making sure the school has a smooth start to the year.
