WINDSOR, Ill. (WAND) - First responders were called out after a semi loaded with fertilizer rolled over in Windsor Monday.
The Windsor Fire Protection District was called out at 8:30 a.m. north of Windsor on IL RT 32.
A south bound, small semi tank load of fertilizer, had rolled over. The fertilizer posed no serious threat to responders, the driver of the truck, bystanders, nor the community as a whole, the Windsor Fire Protection District said.
First responders helped the driver out of the truck where Windsor Ambulance personnel on scene immediately took over.The driver suffered minor injuries.Â
There were no other vehicles involved, although there was a very close call for a north bound vehicle that narrowly missed colliding with the semi.
IL RT 32 was closed for several hours. It reopened around 1 p.m.Â
