Springfield Police investigate man found dead in hotel room

Police look for answers after a man is found dead in a hotel room.

Springfield Police say relatives made the discovery about 3:00 Friday morning at The Red Roof Inn on Singer Avenue. Investigators say the victim is a man about 30-years-old. Police say his injuries lead them to believe there had been a struggle in the room.

A security guard told officers that he saw a man and woman leaving the room about 12:30 or 1:00 Friday morning, taking off in a dark colored car. No arrests have been made yet.
