DANVILLE, Ill. (WAND)- Two people were killed in a shooting in Danville on the day before Thanksgiving.
Danville Police said officers were called to a business in the 1900 block of E. Main St. around 2:45 p.m. Wednesday.
When they arrived, they found one person who had been shot and learned that two other people who had been shot were taken to a nearby hospital.
On Friday, the Vermilion County Coroner confirmed two people died from their injuries.
33-year-old Keith G. Stone of Danville and a 17-year-old juvenile have both lost their lives. According to the Coroner, autopsies are pending.
Police say the third victim who was also involved has been released from the hospital, but will not be identified at this time.
The Illinois State Police assisted DPD in processing the crime scene and gathering evidence.
The Danville Police Department continues to work with leads and gather further evidence.
