(WAND) - It'll be a warm day across Central Illinois this Valentine's Day.

 
Highs will reach the low-to-mid-50s with plenty of sunshine and light winds.
 
A few rain showers will move across the area tonight with lows in the low-40s.

Morning showers depart Thursday and skies become mostly sunny with highs well into the 40s.
 
A weather system will bring a round of snow Friday with colder temperatures.  With the warmth preceding the snow, this will cut back on accumulations.  However, we'll see a dusting to an inch with some locations picking up to two inches.
 
Highs on Friday will be in the low-to-mid-30s with lows dropping to the teens to around 20°.
 
Sunshine returns this weekend with highs in the low-30s Saturday and the low-to-mid-40s Sunday.
