(WAND) - Warmer and mostly dry weather is in the forecast for Central Illinois.
A system dropping through the Midwest today will bring some rain showers and chilly highs around 40°.
The rain ends early tonight and skies become partly to mostly sunny Wednesday with highs in the mid-40s.
Thursday will be the warmest day this week with highs well into the 50s. The record high Thursday for Decatur is 58°.
A few showers are possible Thursday evening into Friday morning.
Highs will stay in the 50s Friday and Saturday and in the 40s to near 50° Sunday and Monday.
