(WAND) - The heaviest of the Winter Storm is behind us and many communities saw the 5-10” snow accumulation that WAND Meteorologists forecasted.
The accumulation below was reported at 6:45 pm, however, they could have increased since that time.
Snow will continue to fall through tonight adding an additional inch in some cases.
Starting Monday, blowing snow will be the focus and biggest concern when it comes to local travel concerns.
The Illinois Department of Transportation continues to work hard to clear the roads and it is advised to give them the space and time to do so.
