Lacey Spence is thrilled to join viewers bright and early as Co-Anchor of WAND Wake Up!

An Oakland, Illinois native and proud Eastern Illinois University graduate (Class of 2016), Lacey got her start in Terre Haute, Indiana at WTHI-TV, where she worked as a producer and multimedia journalist. She later launched the station’s weekend morning newscast as anchor. After nearly four years, she first joined WAND as Weekend Daybreak anchor before returning to her alma mater to serve as a producer, director, and host, earning her master’s degree in Communication and Leadership along the way.

In 2025, she was recognized as a Coles County “20 Under 40” honoree and rejoined the WAND team as Co-Anchor of WAND Wake Up.

When she’s not on-air, you can usually find Lacey baking something sweet, getting lost in a good book, or exploring new places with her husband, whom she married in 2016. She’s also been actively involved with her home church, New Life Church of Sullivan, since 2013. It's a role she considers one of her greatest joys!
