Hannah Flayhan started as a Reporter at WAND in June 2024 and is excited to bring her upbeat attitude and commitment to ethical reporting to the newsroom.

Hannah grew up in Dudley, Massachusetts with dreams to make an impact on the world with her journalism. She attended Emerson College in Boston and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Journalism with a double minor in Peace & Social Justice and American Sign Language. At Emerson, she was a Student Ambassador and a Multimedia Journalist, Correspondent and Anchor with WEBN, the news station on campus. She was also the Creator, Creative Executive Producer, and Co Host of NewsWorthy, a satirical fake news show. She had the honor of winning an EVVY award for Outstanding Studio Television Series for the first season of NewsWorthy.

When she's not tracking down stories or making important calls, she is trying out new and exciting recipes, reading fantasy novels, watching sitcoms, or spending time with her kittens, Daisy Mae and Willow.
