CHARLESTON, Ill. (WAND) -- Eastern Illinois football is off to it's best start since 2013, and after the FCS Top 25 polls came out Monday they find themselves ranked #25, being in the national rankings for the first time since 2016.
EIU 4-1 on the season after a road win at Northwestern State, are tied with Rhode Island at #25 in the FCS Coaches poll.
The Panther's opponent for this week's homecoming game is also in the rankings is #23 UT Martin.Â
