ROSEMONT, Ill. (WAND) - The Big Ten conference announced matchups and locations for the 2026-27 slate of league play for the 18 member schools Tuesday afternoon.
Fresh off their appearance at the Final Four, the Illinois men's basketball team learned their home, away, and two-time opponents for the next season.
Home:Â Iowa, Michigan State, Nebraska, Ohio State, Penn State, UCLA, USC
Away:Â Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Oregon, Rutgers, Washington
Home/Away:Â Northwestern, Purdue, Wisconsin
The Illini finished the 2025-26 season with a 15-5 record against Big Ten opponents. Illinois has finished above .500 against Big Ten opponents the last 7 seasons.
Each program in the Big Ten will play a 20-game conference schedule, including 3 teams at home and away venues, with 14 individual games against other opponents.
