Illinois balancing having fun while taking care of business

GREENVILLE, SC (WAND) -- Illinois men's basketball team opened up their NCAA Tournament experience with an open shoot around practice Wednesday afternoon before taking on Penn in the first round. 

The Illini have a mix of veterans and rookies on the team and with that comes a lot of characters and fun personalities. 

The team says while they are having fun and enjoying the moments but they are focusing on taking care of business on the court. 

Illinois takes on Penn Thursday night in the first round. Tip off is scheduled for approximately 8:25 p.m. (CT)
