NASHVILLE, TN (WAND) -- The Illini and Vols enter the game 8-4 overall Illinois looking for back to back bowl game wins for the first time in program history.

This game expected to be a shoot out with both offenses putting up big numbers in the regular season.
 
The Vols averaging just over 40 points per game and the Illini averaging just over 29 points per game.
 
But on the defensive side of the ball the Illini allowed just over 23 points per game and are preparing to slow down a tough Tennessee offense.

The Music City Bowl game kicks off Tuesday Dec. 30 at 4:30 p.m. at Nissan Stadium.
