CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) - Illini freshman sensation Keaton Wagler was named a consensus All-American for the 2025-26 season. 

Illinois Athletics said that Wagler is the first freshman in Illinois history to receive All-American honors. 

Wagler is the 17th Consensus All-American for the Illini, and he will additionally join the team's Honored Jerseys program at the State Farm Center. 

He was joined alongside JT Toppin (Texas Tech), Joshua Jefferson (Iowa State), Kingston Flemings (Houston), Thomas Haugh (Florida) and Caleb Wilson (North Carolina).
