MILWAUKEE, WI (WAND) -- In what seems like forever the Illinois men's basketball team is finally healthy after injuries and illness plagued them in January and February.

After missing five games due to a broken wrist Morez Johnson Jr. returned in the Big Ten Tournament and was excited to get to shake the rust off before the big stage.

"A positive from the butt kicking was Morez Johnson got a lot of minutes and got to kick the rust off ," Brad Underwood said.

"It was great to get my legs back. The Iowa game I played like 10 minutes and my legs felt kind of heavy like I played a whole game. So it felt great to get that run in and my legs back under me." Morez Johnson Jr.

Illinois takes on Xavier Friday night around 8:45 p.m.
