NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WAND) - 7-seed Illinois is set to face 10-seed Colorado Saturday night at Vanderbilt University in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament.

Head Coach Shauna Green has now brought the Illini to the NCAA Tournament for the 3rd time in her first four years leading the program.

It's been two weeks since Illinois last played a game, a loss in the Big Ten Tournament to Iowa. The team spent the first week working on their own game, before pivoting attention to the Buffaloes after Selection Sunday.

Some key players will suit up for their first ever NCAA Tournament game, including Freshmen stars Cearah Parchment and Destiny Jackson, and transfer Maddie Webber.
The Illini come into Saturday's game 21-11. Colorado stands at 22-11.

Tip-off is set for 8:30 CT in Nashville.

The winner will face the winner of #2-seed Vanderbilt and #15-seed High Point on Monday at Vanderbilt.
