DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) -- Backyard baseball has returned to the Decatur area.

The 10th annual 217 ALZ Wiffleball Classic kicked off Tuesday night at EP Field with the youth division.

Founder Ethan Parker started this tournament 10 years ago to hang out with friends during the summer while also raising money for Alzheimer's.

He said every summer he looks forward to seeing everyone again and calls it a giant family reunion.

And this year they are having theme nights with Tuesday being Live Like Jack night to honor Jack Brinkoetter. They are also raising money for Charlie and his family as he continues fighting to get better.
