(WAND) -- The first full week of May kicked off with several teams in action on the softball field, soccer pitch and baseball field.Â
Williamsville girls soccer team hosted Warrensburg-Maroa for senior night. The Bullets would gets the shutout win winning 9-0.
On the softball field Williamsville faced Rochester in a ranked matchup. The Rockets would get the 1-0 win after a pitchers dual.Â
And down south Effingham hosted Teutopolis. The Shoes would get down early but battle back to force extra innings but the Hearts would hold on to win in eigh innings 10-9.Â
