CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) — Three Illinois men's basketball players have been invited to the 2026 NBA Combine in Chicago.
Guards Kylan Boswell, Keaton Wagler and Andrej Stojakovic will workout for NBA teams at Wintrust Arena in Chicago May 10-17.Â
Boswell played two years at Illinois, playing in 65 games and averaging 12.3 points per game. He was a key factor on the defensive side for the Illini, forcing 61 steals in his two years with the orange and blue. Boswell is projected as a late second round draft pick in the 2026 NBA Draft.Â
Wagler had a stand out freshman year with Illinois, playing and starting in all 37 games while averaging 17.9 points. In his first year with the Illini, Wagler was a consensus All-American Second Team and the Jerry West Shooting Guard of the Year winner, along with receiving several other honors. Wagler is projected to be a top-14 pick in the draft.Â
Stojakovic played in 34 games in his first year with Illinois, averaging 13.5 points per game. He was a key player in the team's Final Four run, coming off the bench and dropping double digits in three of the five March Madness games.
He was also a key factor on the defensive side of the ball, forcing 13 steals and recording 15 blocks. Stojakovic is projected to be a later-second round draft pick in the 2026 draft, but also has his college eligibility remaining after announcing his return to the Illini on April 17.Â
