MOWEAQUA, Ill. (WAND) - This week's Matchup of the Week features a pair of rivals that are just a short trip down U.S 51 from each other.
Meridian and Central A&M will duke it out in what is now a Heart of Central Illinois Conference battle.
The Raiders are a pretty young squad, but they are also frisky. Head coach Brent Weakly says he likes the way his guys are coming along.
And with Central A&M (2-2) and Meridian (1-3), it does not matter what each team's record is, the rivalry is always there.
But the rivalry has been a little lopsided lately. The Raiders have won every matchup since 2014.
