DECATUR, IL. (WAND) - Happy Monday! We have a very warm week ahead with high temperatures about 20 to 25 degrees above average. We have a foggy morning ahead with a dense fog advisory in place for several counties until 9 am. The fog will lift through the morning and lead to partly cloudy skies for the afternoon.

Temperatures will stay mild overnight in the 40s. Tuesday will be overcast with some scattered rain chances in the evening. Winds will be gusting out of the south around 30 mph through the overnight hours. This will lead to a very warm Wednesday morning. Wednesday will be the hottest day of the year so far in the upper 60s. It will almost be a taste of Summer with near record-setting heat.

It will stay warm in the 60s through Thursday afternoon, but another round of showers and a few scattered storms will knock temperatures down for the weekend.
