(WAND) - After a rainy weekend for most of central Illinois, the week ahead will start to dry out.

However, today will be another day with increasing light rain chances.  Rainfall amounts should be less than one-tenth of an inch.  Highs will only reach the low-60s.

Skies begin to clear out tonight and mostly sunny skies are on tap Tuesday with low-70s returning.

Slight rain chances are possible Wednesday afternoon and evening and then more dry weather for the end of the week.

While some models show a chance of a shower Saturday, the upcoming weekend should be mostly dry and warmer with highs well into the 70s.
