DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Temperatures across Central Illinois this summer were rather toasty and that trend is continuing into the fall.
So far, in 2025, we've had 44 days in Decatur with highs of 90° or higher. We might add another one today and tomorrow.
Highs are expected to be in the upper-80s to around 90° through the weekend. It'll be rather breezy this weekend, too.
Models are still hinting at isolated showers Friday. While that can't be ruled out, I still think the best chances of shower and thunderstorm activity will be later Monday into Tuesday with an approaching cold front.
That front will bring cooler weather by the middle and end of next week.
