DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - After a short break from the recent heat wave, summer heat and humidity make a return to Central Illinois.
Plenty of sunshine and fair-weather cumulus clouds are in the forecast today and for the Fourth of July.
Highs will make it into the low-to-mid-90s today through Saturday. We'll also notice the humidity creeping up again. It'll feel like 95°-105°.
While an isolated shower is possible this afternoon across the far northeast, our first real widespread chance of wet weather arrives later Saturday into early next week.
Temperatures will drop back into the 80s next week.
