Slightly warmer temperatures for the next few days

DECATUR, IL. (WAND) - A quiet and cold weather week continues for Central Illinois. Temperatures this morning are already as warm as Monday's high, but it’s still feeling very cold outside. Wind chills are still below 0 for most of the area, but we should climb above 0 by the late morning. Actual temperatures will be in the single digits with a mix of sun and clouds.

Temperatures tonight will drop back into the negatives. Most of the week will keep the same pattern of well below average temperatures. Afternoon highs will struggle to warm up out of the teens through Saturday.

Next week is finally looking a bit warmer. Temperatures will be back in the upper 20s by Monday afternoon. Temperatures will remain below average through at least the middle of next week.
