(WAND) - Very warm weather is in the forecast today and tomorrow before severe storms arrive later Friday.
Severe Weather Heading Our Way
Sunny skies will warm us into the upper-70s today. It'll be very warm again Friday with record or near record highs in the upper-70s to around 80°. It'll also be rather windy Friday with gusts to over 50 mph. A "Wind Advisory" covers the area Friday afternoon into Saturday morning.
Severe storms are looking very likely Friday evening into early Friday night. While damaging winds are the biggest threat, several tornadoes are possible, along with large hail. This is a very dangerous situation shaping up.
It'll be windy again Saturday with highs in the 60s.
Colder weather arrives Saturday night with a wintry mix possible into Sunday morning. Sunday will be much cooler with highs in the 40s to around 50°.
