DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - An Ameren employee is in the hospital after being shocked on the job in Decatur on Friday evening.
Decatur police told WAND News that officers responded to a call about a lineman hanging from a utility pole around 7 p.m. in the South Shores area.
The worker was taken to the hospital, and their condition is unknown.
WAND also reached out to Ameren for comment but has not yet heard back.
