DECATUR, IL. (WAND) - Happy Thursday! We’re tracking snow showers for this evening as another clipper system drop in. A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for a portion of the region from 3pm this afternoon until 6 am tomorrow morning.

On the high end, 3-5 inches will be possible along the I-74 corridor. On the low end, areas southwest can expect a coating. As snow becomes widespread this evening, expect impacts to our evening commuters.

Behind this, another chance for snow returns to the region this weekend, along with dangerously cold temperatures for the start of next week.
