DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — The 169th Annual Macon County Fair takes place from June 4 to 8.
The kick off features carnival rides suitable for all ages, games, food vendors, commercial booths, livestock exhibitions, harness racing, grandstand events, and more.
The cost of admission to the fair is $5.00 per person, while children under 4 can enter for free. Parking is available for free on the fairgrounds.
This year, there's a new chance for attendees to showcase their talents in categories such as potted house plants, cut flowers, corn, soybeans, and oats, along with culinary creations like breads, rolls, muffins, pies, cakes, brownies, and canned goods including vegetables, jams, and marmalade.
