DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - The weekend is upon us, and there are plenty of things to do and see across central Illinois.

Shakespeare in the Park
To be or not to (show up), that is the question. Springfield residents can enjoy Shakespeare in the Park, featuring Shakespearean classics and inspired plays come to life.
The event is free, but donations are suggested.

Cosmic Bowling
Bowl under the black lights with glowing lanes during Cosmic Bowling at Logan Lanes in Lincoln. Enjoy a night under the disco lights with family and friends as you aim to strike up a win.

Community Garage Sale
Get your best garage saling fit ready for this weekend. The Community Garage Sale will take place under the Decatur Civic Center's solar canopies with hundreds of vendors selling furniture, clothing, tools, collectables and more. There will also be food trucks on site.

Christmas in July
Celebrate Christmas in July at West of Wise Winery. Attendees will enjoy spiced wine slushies and live music by Ethan Stephenson from 1-4 p.m.

Public Skate at U of I
Eager to cool off from the heat and show off your ice skating skills? Then, take to the ice at the University of Illinois on Sunday.
