DANVILLE, Ill. (WAND) - Danville is inviting the community to Discover Danville, a celebration of the city's culture.

The event will take place from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4, in Downtown Danville.

There will be samples from local restaurants, a variety of local music performances, Danville trivia, a blind taste-testing competition and more.

Several roads will be closed for the event, including the median at 112 North

Vermilion Street to the intersection of North Street and North Vermilion Street.

Roads will close beginning at noon and reopen at 8:30 p.m. that night.
