Guests to vote on new appetizer during Beach House ribbon-cutting

DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - The Beach House in Decatur is inviting the community for a ribbon-cutting to celebrate the completion of recent renovations and the restaurant's success.

The ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 31, in partnership with the Decatur Regional Chamber of Commerce and Performance Food Group, according to the Beach House's Facebook.

All guests who dine in for lunch during the event will receive a free appetizer sampler with three potential new menu items.

Guests can even vote for their favorite appetizer, and the winner will be added to the menu.

"Our mission is to make the Beach House a restaurant deeply connected to and supportive of our local community, and this event is another way we are working to achieve that goal," the restaurant said in the post.
