DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Monday night, the Decatur Public Library unveiled a new traveling exhibit that highlights the stories and history of African American culture in our state.
This exhibit features contributions from students at Mount Zion High School, whose research will travel to locations in Springfield, Bloomington, Champaign, and Chicago.
The students explored various topics in African American history, providing insights into subjects that might otherwise be overlooked.
The exhibit will be on display at the Decatur Public Library throughout the summer before it rotates to other locations.
