MATTOON, Ill. (WAND) - Lake Land College's Board of Trustees has appointed a new Vice President for Student Services.
Heather Nohren was appointed during the regular board meeting on Monday, August 18.
Nohren will serve as the chief student services officer, providing oversight for all student services at at the college, including recruitment and enrollment, admissions, career services, counseling, and student conduct as well as financial aid and veterans services. She will also oversee athletics, marketing and public relations, student life and TRIO programs.
Nohren will serve as the chief advisor to the President in the formation of policies that focus on collaboration between faculty, staff, students, and communities.
She has a bachelor's degree in education and a master's degree in College Student Affairs from Eastern Illinois University. She has more than 20 years of experience working at Lake Land College, serving most recently as the Chair of Counseling and Student Conduct.
