NORMAL, Ill. (WAND) — An award-winning central Illinois brewery just announced a collaboration with beloved boy band and beermakers, Hanson.
DESTIHL Brewery will be brewing and distributing HANSON BROTHERS BEER (HBB), helping to bring beers like their flagship MMMHops Pale Ale to more markets as well as develop collaboration brands and new styles.
A collaboration beer, Pink Moonlight Hazy Peach IPA, was available for the first time last week during the Boulevardia Beer and Music Festival in Kansas City.
"We love the craft beer community, and we are incredibly proud of the budding collaboration with our friends at DESTIHL. We can’t think of a better way to share this new chapter in our breweries’ history than a beer and music festival like Boulevardia”, said Taylor Hanson.

The partnership has been growing for the past decade when DESTIHL founder Matt Potts and the Hanson brothers met during the Great American Beer Festival.
“We are very excited about this Beer + Music partnership between DESTIHL and HBB, which has culminated after our years-long friendship, conversations and prior collaborations with the Hanson brothers. We look forward to brewing awesome beers with each other and putting them out on tour with HANSON around the country!”, said Matt Potts.
Craft beer fans in both breweries’ home states will have another early shot at trying the limited batch of the Pink Moonlight Hazy Peach IPA ahead of its wider fall distribution, via the limited release July 21st at select craft beer establishments in Illinois and Oklahoma.
